- Candidates must enter their Question Booklet Serial Number (10 marks) on the OMR Answer Sheet.
- Candidates must answer in their own words as far as possible.
- The marks given in the right margin indicate full marks.
- Candidates are given an additional time of 15 minutes to read the questions carefully.
- This Question Booklet is divided into two sections – Section A and Section B. Section A contains 80 objective-type questions, out of which 40 questions are to be answered. Each question carries one mark. If a candidate has to answer more than 40 questions, only the answers to the first 40 questions will be evaluated. To answer these, you should darken the circle in front of the correct option on the OMR Answer Sheet provided to you with a blue/black ball pen. Do not use a whitener/liquid/blade/nail, etc. on the OMR Answer Sheet; otherwise, the result will be treated as invalid.
- Section B contains 24 short-answer type questions. Of these, eight questions are from Physics, eight from Chemistry, and eight from Biology. Four questions are to be answered from each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Each question carries 2 marks. Apart from this, there are 6 long-answer questions, out of which two questions are from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The long answer questions from Physics are of 6 marks each, and those from Chemistry and Biology are of 5 marks each. It is compulsory to answer one question each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Use of any electronic device is strictly prohibited.
